If Social Media Sites Were Fictional Characters

I’m an avid social media user, and one of the things that strikes me as interesting while I’m using different social networking sites is the fact that each site has a dynamic unique unto itself. While many of us have coexisting Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and/or LinkedIn accounts, all of these sites we visit offer us something different and distinct. Facebook has a casual, laid-back, gregarious vibe, while LinkedIn is undoubtedly much more professional. It’s almost as if all of the mediums through which we engage in social networking have well-defined personalities, complete with their own idiosyncrasies, eccentricities, and quirks, much like people.
